MAD SCIENTIST
Kimono/lab coat-thing, sunglasses and pants - ForeverXXI | T-shirt and shoes - ZARA | Necklace - H&M | Lipstick - "Barbecue" by ToledoXMAC | Watch - Movado | Bracelet - Tiffany & Co. |
As it says, I just like the way this outfit sort of made me look like a mad scientist. Also, look! (Almost) no black!

LAZY
Shirt - JOE Fresh | Vest - Elizabeth & James | Jeans - UO | Shoes - ALDO | Lipstick - "Franken Furter" by MAC | Sunglasses - ForeverXXI |
This outfit was created by sleeping in late, laundry day, and general laziness. The shirt definitely doubled as a yoga shirt once my shift was over. Just trying to keep it real with you guys.

SUBTLE
Fortunately, Sasha was there to humour my request for, "Like, maybe just a few shades lighter."
And just like that/a few hours later, my little hair experiment is complete! I think that this ought to be enough to keep me from messing with my hair while I wait for it to grow.

CLASH
Shirt & shoes - ZARA | Pants & blazer - H&M | Sunglasses - Persol | Bag - Eleven Thirty | Lipstick - "Opera" by MAC X Toledo |
Every once in a while, I like to switch up my all-black outfits by adding different patterns or textures to the mix. Today, I went a little "crazy" and put two patterns together. How shocking!!
Also, ever since the temperature's gone above 12 degrees (celsius, for my American pals who must have just thought I was a lunatic) one of my favourite pairs of shoes have been worn on the daily, so expect to see a lot more of them in upcoming blog posts.

GUESS WHAT?
This is for all of my Toronto people who love local designers and jewellery! Check it out!
The Gardiner Museum is hosting a one-of-a-kind pop-up shop on April 17, 2015 from 5-9pm. They're featuring some really great jewellery and accessories by the following local designers:
Alynne Lavigne
Eliza Kozurno
C'est Joli
Elementals
Two A
Irina Rapaport
Krystyne Griffin
Valentine Rouge
The event is open to the public, and there's a cash bar, so you can enjoy some tasty cocktails while you shop!
See you there!

SUNDOWN
Coat - H&M | Shirt - ForeverXXI | Pants - OAK + FORT | Shoes - ZARA | Bag - Eleven Thirty |
It's been a REEEEAAALLY long winter. For the first time in what felt like a thousand years, the weather was warm enough to shed more than a few layers. (Shoutout to all the people walking around Queen St. wearing shorts, tank tops, and flip flops today.)
Unfortunately, I was at work today, of course, so I could only manage a few photos on my phone en route to my crib. Despite the changing weather, however, my wardrobe maintains a strict colour-scheme of black and sometimes white.

THE NEW THREE-PIECE SUIT
A couple of classics: white button-downs and leather jackets—although in my option, are ALWAYS on trend, have been given a sort of new life with the arrival of the statement necklace. The combination of the three create a trifecta of cool that's likely to become a classic ensemble in its own right. Kind of like a three-piece suit.
Do you agree or disagree? Thoughts?

MONDAY MUSE: ADVANCED STYLE
This week's "Monday Muse(s)" are the impeccably-dressed ladies of Advanced Style. These beautiful women (and sometimes men), photographed by Ari Seth Cohen, can teach all of us a thing or two about style. They're a source of inspiration because—well, look at them all! They all look so confident and care-free, and their clothes!
To put it plainly, when I grow up, I want to be just like these ladies with their great and sometimes eccentric wardrobes. Also all of their lipstick game's on point!

CASUAL.
Top & coat - H&M | Sunglasses & Skirt - ForeverXXI | Boots - Guess | Lipstick - "Frank-n-furter" by MAC |
At this point, I've worn these pieces out individually, but I'm not sure if I'll ever wear this outfit to go out, especially if the weather never actually stops being in winter mode. Also, if you know me, you know that I'm thinking that's probably way too much exposed skin for me—not to mention that I generally like wearing things a size too big and this is definitely pretty fitted.
In other words, I definitely just put this outfit on for the blog post. We'll see how I feel about wearing it out in real life. HAHAHA.
