I took a trip to Sephora today with my friend Roxy to spend some Christmas $$$.
***Before getting into what I purchased, I just have to say that if you've ever had any doubt about getting a gift card for someone, you really shouldn't worry. I love to shop, and getting a gift card means I get two gifts in one—cool stuff, and a shopping trip! (Shout-out to my boyfriend's mum and grandparents for the gift cards.)
Alright, back to what this blog post is about: LIPSTICK!!
I forgot to label these swatches. SORRY! (I haven't blogged in five months, so I'm a little rusty.) |
Et voilà! This is what I ended up with: This year's Pantone colour (Marsala) in lipstick form!
Would you look at that packaging! The magnetic, rose gold exterior is just too good—almost as good as the colour inside. Almost. The lipstick has a matte finish, and a really creamy texture. It doesn't dry my lips, which is an obvious plus, and it's a perfect, everyday colour. At $23, it's also really reasonable, considering the quality and the fact that it's a limited edition item. My verdict (if it wasn't already obvious): BUY IT!
Sorry about the side-eye, folks. My face is in permanent RBF, and working during "boxing week" isn't doing me any favours. I will be blogging more (and more consistently) in the new year, though, so look out for that!
